FAQ

Questions about the position

Can I start with you as a career changer?

Yes. Training in event technology or as an audiovisual media designer helps, but it is not a requirement. If you come from electrical engineering, IT, a trade or an event or stage crew, or you spend a lot of your free time on technology, you have good prerequisites. In the form, under “What are you doing at the moment?”, briefly write what you have done so far. We will talk about what your start looks like in the first conversation.

Do I need to know everything already?

No. What matters is technical understanding and that you like to get stuck in. You do not need to know camera, sound, gallery or streaming yet, you will learn that with us in the team.

What are the working hours like?

Live production follows the race, not the clock. Productions also run in the evening and at weekends. We will talk openly about what that looks like in practice in the first conversation.

Do I need English?

You do need good German. English helps with international clients, but it is not a must.

Do I need a CV to apply?

No. The form on this page is enough for the first step. If you have a CV to hand, attach it; otherwise you can send it later.

Where would I work?

Our studio is at Nürburgring Boulevard 2 in Nürburg, right on the start and finish straight. We also produce at and around the race track.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application ourselves and get back to you by email, or by phone if you gave us a number.
